Metal Detecting Hunt

Find treasure at the Chesapeake Bay Environmental Center

March 28, 2015, 11-2pm

Open and Seeded Hunt, open to the public

Limited to 75 participants, pre-registration required (see below)

Join us for a lecture on “Treasures of the Eastern Shore” following the hunt, 3-5pm

Andy Nunez will discuss “Treasures of the Eastern Shore” from 3-5pm.

Cost

$40/person for Hunt.  $5 additional/person, if you’d like to attend the lecture.

Hunt information & rules:

  • Rain or Shine
  • Head phones must be worn
  • No PI units are allowed
  • Coils are limited to 12” max largest dimension
  • No vending without permission
  • No long handled tools or
  • Shovels will be allowed
  • Money raised after expenses will go to CBEC– a 501c3 non-profit
  • No refunds
  • There will be tokens buried that can be redeemed for prizes!
