Explore, Learn, and Have Fun: Register for Chesapeake Bay Summer Camp!
Inviting all children back to their natural habitat! We want your kids to join us this summer as we embark on some incredible adventures. Whether it is catching a frog, exploring the trails, mucking through the marsh, or putting our toes in the sand, we are going to make some great memories! The summer is a great time to be on the Bay and do fun, basic outdoor nature things, whether it’s going to look for tadpoles or using the seine nets to figure out who’s living in the Bay.
During summer camp, we will be exploring the Bay, making friends, and enjoying the outdoors, all while learning about the environment through a “hands-on, feet-wet” approach. Campers will connect to the natural world through art, close encounters with live animals, stories, games, nature treks, and outdoor play. CBEC is committed to creating healthier communities by connecting people to nature through adventure-based learning that contributes to the conservation of the Chesapeake Bay. Explore the day camps offered at CBEC!

Scouts, Entering Grades 1-3
Our Scouts at camp this week will enjoy a different nature theme each day. By the end of the week, campers will explore wetlands, navigate our forests and get their feet wet discovering the Bay. We will learn about the variety of animals that populate CBEC’s variety of habitats. Campers will also play games, and create nature art.

Rangers, Entering Grades 3-5
Do you seek outdoor adventure? If so be sure to join us this week as we discover the wild spaces around us. Campers will learn about pond and forest habitats, local plants and animals, build forts in the forest, play wildlife games, and hike and explore throughout the week for no shortage of fun adventures!

Explorers, Entering Grades 2-4
Our Campers this week will discover weird and wacky facts about Nature. We will do experiments, make predictions, test our theories and learn about the fascinating world around us. Along with science as it relates to nature discoveries this week, we will participate in yard and water games as well as make memories with team building activities and challenges.
