FLY YOUR WAY AROUND CBEC with the GPS ADVENTURES!!

DESCRIPTION:

This new stimulating CBEC individual and family learning adventure allow participants use GPS skills to follow a course around CBEC.  Participants may choose from multiple themed course topics to learn along the way! Each course is tailored to different learning levels. You will get the chance to solve puzzles and mazes, test your navigational skills and  have fun learning about many interesting subjects. It combines the fun of games, escape rooms, treasure hunts, obstacle courses, and geocaching.

This is a self led activity.

This is an example of a GPS used in the cockpit of an airplane. It displays an aeronautical chart showing air space, altitudes, alerts and other pertinent information needed in flight.

Choose from one the following GPS experiences

Original CBEC GPS ADVENTURE:

Topic: Wildlife

Age: 4th-8th grade

Time : 2 hours

Water GPS ADVENTURE:

Topic: Water!

Age: 2nd-5th

Time : 2 hours

Birds GPS ADVENTURE: (COMING SOON)

Topic: Birds!

Age: 8th-12th grade and adults!

Time : 2 hours

  • Cost

    $20 for individuals or a family up to 4
    $10 for Member individuals or families up to 4

  • When

    Daily 9am to 3pm

  • Length

    1-2 Hours depending on skill level.

  • What to Bring?

    A GPS Enabled device or cell phone (Commander Compass Go is a great app), sunscreen, bug repellent, water, snacks and a note pad & pen. A clipboard is helpful.

  • What is provided?

    A packet with instructions, station sheets with lessons, questions and puzzles, a map of CBEC, a Certificate of Completion, the CBEC Adventure and a whole lot of fun.

  • How to Sign Up
